I've been playing with lighting recently and have come to one conclusion, that being lighting is an art form that takes much time and thought to pull off. If you haven't heard of Joe McNally you should, this guy is amazing when it comes to lighting. Check him out here http://www.joemcnally.com/portfolio/portfolio.html He does things with small camera flashes as well as the larger studio stuff. Mind blowing to say the least. 

So I'm trying to approach lighting with a more "open eye" if you will. You have to see the final version and then work towards it. You may not get what you thought in your head but it's a great journey thus far. I'll be posting experiments that I'll be trying along the way. Enjoy
